Sri Lanka Queen’s and President’s Scout Guild officials met Chief Scout Commissioner Mr. Janaprith Fernando (Attorney-at-Law )and Deputy Chief Scout Commissioner Mr. M.F S.Muheed today (6 December 2023) at National Headquarters.
They had cordial discussions and exchanged views on Guild and Scout matters. Chief Commissioner requested them to participate in the forthcoming National Jamboree and they agreed to do so The delegation comprised of Guild President, Deshamanya, Deshabandu, Capt. Gayan Withanage JP (WI), Secretary and Asst. Headquarters Commissioner Mr. S. Amalaraj, Treasurer Mr. De Alwis, and Committee member Mr. Ruwan Rodrigo.
After very fruitful discussions the Chief Commissioner was presented with the Guild Scarf by the President and the Deputy Chief Commissioner was presented with the Guild Scarf by the Secretary.
The Guild officials also extended an invitation for the Chief and Deputy to participate in the Guild Get Together on Sunday 10 December at the Camporee.
