The new World Scout Logo was launched in Sri Lanka by Mr. David Berg, Secretary General of the world Organisation of Scout Movement on 14th August 2025 at the Viharavmahadevi Park Open Air Theatre in Colombo.
The Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee Mr. Simon Rhee, Mr. J.R. Pangilinan, Regional Director Asia Pacific Support Centre, Chief Commissioner Mr. Janaprith Fernando, Mr. Ruwan Ariyatatne, National Program Commissioner and Chief Commissioners of South Asian countries were present amidst the large gathering of scouts and leaders from Colombo and nearby districts.

The scout walk preceded the launch of logo from Independence Square to Vihararamahadevi park
to highlight the importance of Clean Sri Lanka, Drug awareness and scouting.
