In a moment of immense national pride, the Sri Lanka Scout Association has secured a landmark international victory, claiming the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 (𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲) in the Cultural Performance competition at the prestigious 𝗝-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁 during the 16th Korea National Scout Jamboree.
Competing against contingents from over 21 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, the Sri Lankan Scouts delivered a captivating performance that celebrated the island’s vibrant cultural heritage, earning top honors and widespread acclaim on the international stage.
As a result of this outstanding achievement, the Sri Lanka Scout Contingent has been awarded the distinguished opportunity to perform at the 𝗞-𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗲’𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, placing Sri Lanka in the global spotlight.
𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.
This remarkable accomplishment reflects not only the exceptional talent and dedication of Sri Lanka’s young Scouts, but also the strategic leadership and unwavering commitment of the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆-𝗮𝘁-𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗷 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗿, together with the Senior Commissioners.
The success of the international participation and performance was expertly coordinated by the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮𝘄𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, whose meticulous planning and dedicated efforts ensured that the Sri Lanka contingent was fully prepared to compete and excel on the global stage.
Their combined guidance, preparation, and vision enabled the contingent to represent Sri Lanka with excellence, confidence, and cultural pride.

The 16th Korea National Jamboree, hosted in Gangwon Province, brings together thousands of Scouts from around the world under the shared values of 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 fostering unity and cultural exchange among youth globally.
