Website of Sri Lanka Scouts relaunched

Sri Lanka Scouts relaunched the website with an upgraded and modernized version under the patronage of the Chief Commissioner Major General Milinda Peiris at a meeting of the Senior Commissioners held yesterday 4th October 2020 at the Kotelawala Defence University auditorium under strict health guidelines and on Zoom.

It was under the direction of the Chief Commissioner preparatory work began a few months ago with the participation of the Air Force Officials led by Group Captain Paminda Jayawardena who is in charge of the Air Scouts Unit of the Air Force. The Air Force team comprised Group Captain Sulochana Marapperuma, Wing Commander Rajeev Pagoda and Flight Lieutenant Lasitha Pushpakumara Kotelawala Defence University team comprised Dean Faculty of Computing Commodore Janaka Gunaseela and Senior Lecturer Dr. Pradeep Kalansooriya and the Sri Lanka Scouts Team led by Mr. Srilath de Silva – Asst. Chief Commissioner who is in charge of Web and IT. This project was a fruitfull collaboration of Sri Lanka Scout Association, Sri Lanka Air Force and Kotelawala Defence University. 

It’s a new look website with all the information of Sri Lanka Scout Association and still many more information will be uploaded in the days ahead.

The Chief Commissioner appreciated and thanked the Air Force and Kotelawala Defence University Officials for their hard work in upgrading the website.
