SL Scouts 110 – The Chief Commissioner Mr Janaprith Fernando AAL met the District Commissioner Kapila Priyantha, Chairman of the Committee of the Kandy District Branch, key office bearers, Assistant District Commissioners, and District Scout Leaders at the Kandy District Scout Headquarters on 1st November. The district officials exchanged many ideas and discussed several important matters in respect of the Quality of scouting in the district, membership growth and other issues faced by the Scouts and leaders. Immediate steps were taken to resolve some of the issues. The Chief Commissioner and the officials discussed the SL Scouts 110th Anniversary celebrations to be held on 17th December 2022. It was decided to hold the District Rally ‘Kanboree’ and the procession to coincide with the anniversary celebrations.
