Newly Elected President of Sri Lanka Scout Association Meets with Secretary of Defence, Affirming Commitment to Future Collaboration

The newly elected President of Sri Lanka Scout Association Brig (Ret) J P A Jayawardana paid a courtesy call on the Secretary Defence General Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry of Defence this afternoon. Chief Commissioner Janaprith Fernando Attorney-at-Law and M F S Muheed Deputy Chief Commissioner were also present at the discussions. The Chief Commissioner thanked and presented a plaque to the Secretary in appreciation of the support given to make the 10th National Scout Jamboree a tremendous success. The Secretary re-iterated his commitment to support Sri
Lanka Scout Association in the future as well.
