For the first time in the history of the Sri Lanka Scout Association, the National Scout Youth Council was officially established recently, marking a significant step forward in strengthening youth leadership and youth empowerment within the movement.
The event was graced by Chevaan Daniel, Group Director of the Capital Maharaja Group, who attended as the Chief Guest. The newly formed council consists of 100 Scout and Rover Scout representatives—both male and female—representing all Districts of the island.
The primary objective of the council is to elevate young leaders to a national platform, enabling them to actively contribute their ideas and proposals toward the development of the Scout Movement in Sri Lanka. It also aims to lay a strong foundation for nurturing the next generation of leaders within the organization.
Promoting youth leadership and youth empowerment has been identified as a key focus under the Strategic Plan (2026–2028) of both the Sri Lanka Scout Association and the global World Organization of the Scout Movement, where these areas are recognized as critical strategic priorities.
Distinguished attendees at the event included Mr. Ransiri Perera President of Sri Lanka Scout council, Mr. Manoj Nanayakkara (attorney at law) , Chief Commissioner , Mr. Thushara Samarasekara chairman of the committee of the council, Dr.Asanka Eriyawa, International commissioner and other senior commissioners.
During the ceremony, members of the National Scout Youth Council took their oath of office and were officially presented with their appointment letters.
The council will serve for a one-year term, playing an active leadership role in national-level initiatives and contributing to shaping the future direction of Scouting in Sri Lanka.
ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ ඉතිහාසයේ ප්රථම වතාවට ‘ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ තරුණ කවුන්සලය‘ පසුගියදා පිහිටුවනු ලැබිණි.
කැපිටල් මහරාජා සමූහයේ සමූහ අධ්යක්ෂ ශෙවාන් ඩැනියෙල් මහතා මෙහි ප්රධාන ආරාධිඅමුත්තා ලෙස සහභාගි වූ අතර දිවයිනේ සෑම ප්රදේශයක්ම නියෝජනය කරමින් බාලදක්ෂ හා මානවක බාලදක්ෂ බාලක බාලිකාවන් 100 දෙනෙකුගෙන් සමන්විතව නව කවුන්සලය ස්ථාපිත කෙරිණි.
තරුණ නායකයන් ජාතික මට්ටමේ තලයකට ගෙන එමින් ඔවුන්ගේ අදහස් හා යෝජනා ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ සංවර්ධනය සදහා යොදා ගැනීම සහ ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ අනාගත නායකයන් බිහි කිරීම සදහා අවශ්ය අඩිතාලම සැකසීම මෙහි අරමුණ වී තිබේ.
තරුණ නායකත්වය ප්රවර්ධනය හා තරුණ සවිබල ගැන්වීම ශ්රි ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ මෙන්ම ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ ව්යාපාරයේ උපායමාර්ගික සැලැස්මේ ( 2026- 2028) ප්රදාන ප්රමුඛතාවයන් ලෙස සැලකේ.
මේ අවස්ථාවට ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ කවුන්සලයේ සභාපති රන්සිරි පෙරේරා, ප්රධාන බාලදක්ෂ කොමසාරිස් නීතිඥ මනෝජ් නානායක්කාර, විධායක කමිටු සභාපති තුෂාර සමරසේකර, ජාත්යන්තර කොමසාරිස් වෛද්ය අසංක ඒරියාව මහත්වරුන්ද එක්ව සිටියහ.
මෙහිදී තරුණ කවුන්සලයේ සාමාජිකයන් දිව්රුම් දීම හා ඔවුන්ට පත්වීම් ලිපි ප්රදානය කිරීමද සිදුකළ අතර වසරක කාලයක් සදහා මෙම තරුණ කවුන්සලය ජාතික මට්ටමේ කටයුතු වලට සක්රීයව නායකත්වය සපයනු ලැබේ.
இலங்கை சாரணர் வரலாற்றில் முதன்முறையாக, ‘தேசிய சாரணர் இளைஞர் சபை’ சமீபத்தில் நிறுவப்பட்டது.
கெப்பிடல் மகாராஜா குழுமத்தின் குழுமப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு. சேவன் டேனியல் அவர்கள் பிரதம விருந்தினராகக் கலந்துகொண்டார். மேலும், தீவின் ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியையும் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் 100 சாரணர்கள் மற்றும் திரி சாரணர்கள் பங்குபற்றளுடன் இந்தப் புதிய சபை நிறுவப்பட்டது.
இளம் தலைவர்களைத் தேசிய அளவில் கொண்டு வந்து, அவர்களின் கருத்துக்களையும் ஆலோசனைகளையும் இலங்கை சாரணர் சங்கத்தின் வளர்ச்சிக்குப் பயன்படுத்துவதும், இலங்கை சாரணர் சங்கத்தின் எதிர்காலத் தலைவர்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு அடித்தளம் அமைப்பதும் இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.
இளைஞர் தலைமைத்துவ மேம்பாடு மற்றும் இளைஞர் வலுவூட்டல் ஆகியவை இலங்கை சாரணர் சங்கம் மற்றும் உலக சாரணர் இயக்கத்தின் உத்திசார் திட்டத்தில் (2026-2028) முக்கிய முன்னுரிமைகளாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றன
இலங்கை சாரணர் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் திரு. ரன்சிறி பெரேரா, பிரதம சாரணர் ஆணையாளர் சட்டத்தரணி மனோஜ் நனயக்கார, செயற்குழுத் தலைவர் திரு. துஷாரா சமரசேகர மற்றும் சர்வதேச ஆணையாளர் டாக்டர் அசங்க ஏரியாவ ஆகியோரும் இந்நிகழ்வில் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
இளைஞர் மன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் பதவியேற்றுக் கொண்டதோடு, அவர்களுக்கு நியமனக் கடிதங்களும் வழங்கப்பட்டன. இந்த இளைஞர் மன்றம் ஓராண்டு காலத்திற்கு தேசிய அளவிலான செயல்பாடுகளைத் தீவிரமாக வழிநடத்தும்.
