A Rover Scout Phase 1 Course in Tamil Medium was held on 20th and 21st January 2024 at Thiruvaiyaru Maha Vidyalayam in Kilinochchi, after a lapse of 38 years in Northern province since 1986.
The Rover Phase 1 Course in Tamil Medium had been conducted by Mr. P.S. R. Rajamani, LT and former National Training Commissioner in 1986 at Old Park in Jaffna.
At the present course in Kilinochchi 27 participants from Northern and Eastern Provinces followed the course.
The Course Leader was Dr. Manjula Sahabandu LT and Asst. Chief Commissioner.
Mrs. Bharathy and Messrs. Thevaranjan,Pudkaran and Prashanth served as Staff Members.
The Course was coordinated by Mr. S. Amalaraj, Asst. Headquarters Commissioner.
Mr. Premkumar DC Kilinochchi, Mr. S. Vigneswsran,ADC Training made all arrangements as the host district.
