Project under “clean SL”was launched by Scouts of Jaffna District this morning to coincide with the 77th Independence Day. Project was organised by DC Jaffna Mr. Pradipan and the Chief Commissioner, Attorney at Law Mr.Janaprith Fernando hoisted the National flag which was followed by a short ceremony for Independence Day. Over 300 Scouts are at present engaged in clean up of Jaffna city with the Chief Commissioner, DCs of Point Pedro & KKS and other Scout officials.
