The Chief Guest Hon. Mahinda Jayasinghe, Deputy Minister of Labour presented the Awards accompanied by Mr. Ransiri Perera, President of Sri Lanka Scout Association, Chief Commissioner Attorney at Law Mr. Janaprith Fernando, Deputy Chief Commissioner Mr. M.F.S. Muheed, National Program Commissioner Mr. Ruwan Ariyatatne, National Training Commissioner Col. Padmalal Perera, International Commissioner Dr. Asanka Eriyawa and Asst. Chief Commissioner (Rovers) Mr. Srilath de Silva.
332 President’s Scouts received their awards along with 7 Rover Scouts for the Baden Powell Award.
District and Scout Group Awards for 2023 and 2024 were also presented. Assistant Chief Commissioners, Headquarters Commissioners, Asst. Headquarters Commissioners, District Commissioners, Parents,Scout Officials and invitees added colour to the ceremony.
The host district was Gampaha under the leadership of Mr. Janaka Sugath the District Commissioner made all logistical arrangements.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the National Program Commissioner Mr. Ruwan Ariyatatne
