New DCs were appointed for the scout districts of Moneragala, Jaffna and Akkaraipattu-Kalmunai on Sunday 29 January 2023.
Chief Commissioner, Attorney at Law Mr. Janaprith Fernando presented the appointment letters in the presence of Deputy Chief Commissioner Mr. M. F. S. Muheed and Assistant Chief Commissioner (Admin ) Dr. Manjula Sahabandu to Mrs. L. M. W. Malkanthi for Moneragala Scout District, Mr. M. Piratheepan for Jaffna Scout District, and Mr. M.I. Uthuma Lebbe – DC – Akkaraipattu- Kalmunai Scout District. Deputy Chief Commissioner presented the District Documents file to the DCs. These appointments were made as a result of the former DCs period coming to an end.
