He has been A scout at Dharma rajah College Kandy and won the President’s Scout Award.
He is also a holder of the Baden Powell Award as a Rover Scout.
He is a qualified trainer having won the Wood badge.
His services to the district and national Scout Headquarters have been remarkable resulting in many sponsorships of events.
He was a live wire during the centenary jamboree of Dharmarajah College RISGO.
His loss will be felt by many in the scout fraternity.
May he attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana.
