The Sri Lanka Scout Association is proud to announce a generous contribution toward its ongoing Digitalization Project—an initiative designed to strengthen, modernize, and future-proof Scouting across the nation.
In response to a request made by Headquarters Commissioner Jeyapavan, and with a shared commitment to enhancing Scouting—particularly in districts requiring greater technological support—the Mahajanan Old Scout WhatsApp Group has donated four (04) computers through its Sri Lanka representative. This timely contribution will directly support the effective implementation and continued advancement of the National Scout Digitalization Initiative.
The Digitalization Project aims to improve administrative efficiency, communication, training delivery, and data management at district and national levels. By equipping underserved districts with essential technological resources, the Association is ensuring that no Scout is left behind in an increasingly digital world.
This initiative is being coordinated by Assistant Chief Commissioner Deshan Milinda and his dedicated team, who are committed to ensuring the proper deployment and responsible utilization of these resources for maximum impact. Their leadership continues to drive meaningful progress in building a more connected, efficient, and forward-looking Scout Movement.

ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ ඩිජිටල්කරණ ව්යාපෘතිය සඳහා, රට පුරා බාලදක්ෂ ක්රියාකාරකම් ශක්තිමත් කර නවීකරණය කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් මෙම වැඩසටහනට, මහජනන් ආදී බාලදක්ෂ වට්ස්ඇප් සමූහය විසින් ඔවුන්ගේ උදාර සහයෝගය ලබා දී ඇති බව සතුටින් දැනුම් දෙමු.
මූලස්ථාන කොමසාරිස් ජෙයපාවන් මහතා විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලද ඉල්ලීමකට ප්රතිචාර වශයෙන් ද, විශේෂයෙන් වැඩි සහයෝගයක් අවශ්ය වන දිස්ත්රික්කවල බාලදක්ෂ ක්රියාකාරකම් උසස් කර සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේ අරමුණින් ද, එම සමූහය ශ්රී ලංකා නියෝජිතයා මඟින් පරිගණක හතර (04)ක් පරිත්යාග කර ඇත. මෙම පරිගණක ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ඩිජිටල්කරණ වැඩසටහන කාර්යක්ෂමව ක්රියාත්මක කිරීම හා එහි අඛණ්ඩ ප්රගතිය තවදුරටත් ශක්තිමත් කිරීම සඳහා මහත් දායකත්වයක් සපයනු ඇත.
මෙම වටිනා ව්යාපෘතිය සහකාර ප්රධාන කොමසාරිස් දේශන් මිලින්ද මහතාගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණයෙන්, ඔහුගේ කැපවූ කණ්ඩායම සමඟ ක්රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන අතර, අවශ්යතාවය ඇති දිස්ත්රික්කවල ප්රයෝජනය සඳහා මෙම සම්පත් නිසි හා කාර්යක්ෂමව භාවිතා කිරීමට කටයුතු කරනු ලැබේ.
