Chief Scout Commissioner visits Trincomalee Scout District.
Major Gen Milinda Peiris Chief Commissioner had a meeting with the District lay officials, Commissioners and Scout leaders today ( 02-10-2020) and discussed their problems and also steps to be taken to develop Scouting in increasing membership and to produce quality scouts. Mr. Ratnavadivel Chairman delivered the welcome address. The Scout leaders aired their views freely and sought the advise of the Chief Commissioner. Some important decisions were taken with regard to Administration of the Scout District. Mr. S. Sasikumar Asst. District Commissioner was appointed to cover the duties of the District Commissioner until a new DC is appointed. Mr. M. F. S. Muheed Special Commissioner for North and East also addressed the gathering. Mr. G.B. Sebastian Secretary proposed the Vote of thanks.
