The 12th Asst. Leader Trainers Course which commenced on 2nd June 2023 was successfully brought to a close at the closing ceremony held on 8th June 2023 at the Wayamba Training Centre, Wariyapola.
Two participants were given the opportunity to express their expectations of the course followed by a well-documented video presentation of the entire course.
Mr. Prassanna Shrivastava, Director of APR Support Centre, Mr. Malcolm Tan, Leader Trainer of Singapore Scout Association, and Dr. Joko Mursitho, Leader Trainer of of Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia gave their observations of the course which provided good advice to the participants for their future training matters.
The Course Leader Mr. Sarath Matararachchi presented a comprehensive Report of the entire course. All 47 participants were presented with their certificates of participation.
Chief Commissioner Attorney at Law Mr. Janaprith Fernando addressed the gathering and requested them to see that more leaders are trained in order to produce more scouts.
All Staff members of the Course were recognized for their devoted services with certificates of Appreciation.
The Course Leader Mr. Matararachchi handed over the Report to the National Training Commissioner Mr. Gamini Somathilaka and the course was brought to a close with the Vote Of thanks by the NTC.
Mr. Padmalal Perera, LT and Director of Training functioned as the Deputy Course Leader.
Dr. Asanka Eriyawa functioned as the Secretary of the Course.
