“STAY HOME CHALLENGE FOR GIRLS’ IN SCOUTING”

We are happy to inform you that National level “Stay Home challenge for Girls’ in Scouting” will commence from 7th April 2020 and continue for 3 weeks duration.

The main objective is to provide various opportunities for the Adult leaders and Girls’ in Scouting in ALL SECTIONS OF SCOUTING to Stay Home, Stay Safe and actively participate in scout activities during COVID-19 Outbreak.

Department of Girl’s in Scouting of Sri Lanka Scout Association has planned several of activities keep the youth and women empowered during this present situation of the country.

Program will be conducted through Assistant District Commissioners Girls’ in Scouting in all 37 districts and all instructions will be provided to them in due course.

At the end of 3 weeks duration (30th April 2020) , Scout Mistress are requested to submit a summary report to Assistant District Commissioner Girls’ in Scouting regarding the activities at Troop level (a format will be provided) by 10th May 2020 using email or social media.

Assistant District Commissioner Girls’ in Scouting are requested to submit the final district report (a format will be provided) by 20th May 2020 to National Scout Head Quarters using email or social media.
