The Team comprised of Mr. S. Amalaraj,, AHQC In Charge of the project with Mr. Sashika Munasinghe, AHQC.
The program commenced with the Welcome Address by Mr. T.D. Nihal president of the SLSA, Ratnapura District Branch. He welcomed the team and said the initiative taken by National Headquarters to carry out assessment of the districts, is really a motivation for the districts to work better and improve. All present introduced themselves and Mr. Sashika Munasinghe explained the purpose of the project is to raise the standards of the Districts to function in an effective manner.
Thereafter the Assessment with the 50 dimensions commenced and documents were presented for verification and taken to consideration by the Assessment Team.Those who participated were the President, Secretary Treasurer and other lay officials of the District and Assistant District Commissioners led by ADC Admin. Mrs. Kumari Thilakarathna District Commissioner Mr. Meril Dissanayake could not be present due to urgency of his official work.
At the conclusion Mr. S. Amalaraj AHQC in charge of the Subject proposed the Vote of thanks and in reply the Secretary of the Branch thanked the Assessment Team and Headquarters for the initiative. Plaques of Appreciation were presented by the District to the Assessment Team.
