Mr. Aminur Rahman from Bangladesh and Dr. Reshma Ramesh from India visited the National Scout Headquarters and addressed the Commissioners during their monthly meeting.
Mr. Aminur Rahman of Bangladesh is a senior scout leader and a renowned poet who is a Business graduate and a pharmacist by profession. He has published more than 40 books and won several awards.
He made an interesting presentation to the Commissioners on “Leadership and Styles of leadership” giving fruitful thoughts.
Dr. Reshma Ramesh is a renowned poet and photographer and has published many books and awards in the country and Internationally. In her presentation, she spoke on the talents of each one that could be developed to achieve success. She spoke on her own personal experiences of how she has grown and what she has achieved. She further said no one is born as a poet they are made due to their own perseverance.
Chief Commissioner Mr. Janaprith Fernando appreciated their participation and support during the recently concluded Global Cultural Jamboree organized by the Sri Lanka Scout Association. Mementos were presented in appreciation of their support by the chief Commissioner along with Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Global Cultural Jamboree Mr. Prabath Kularatne, Asst. Chief Commissioner.
Dr. Rajeeva Pieris, International Commissioner proposed the Vote of Thanks.
